National Security Director Political Science

Marc Warburton has worked as a contractor for the defense and intelligence establishments for 35 years. He joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2009 to run the Intelligence Community’s Center for Academic Excellence, and to assist Nebraska faculty competing for grants with the Department of Defense. He is now Director of the National Security Education Programs at the university with the mission to extend and enhance its defense- and intelligence-related academic offerings and research portfolio. He continues to direct the University of Nebraksa-Lincoln IC CAE, which prepares students for careers in the U.S. Intelligence Community. He teaches NST 375, “Writing and Briefing for the National Security Enterprise” and NST 376, “Analytic Methods for the Defense and Intelligence Communities."
