Pierce Eckstrom, an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, recently co-authored a study that investigates how individuals judge politicians in the midst of scandals, and whether individuals of the same party incentivize politicians to refrain from apologizing for their wrongdoing. The study, published in the journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, has been featured in Nebraska Today, Nebraska News Channel, and also in a radio chat with Drive Time Nebraska.
