An article co-written by Alice Kang, professor in the Department of Political Science and the Institute for Ethnic Studies, has been published in The Conversation.

"Nigerian children don’t imagine women as political leaders: what shapes their view" is available online.

Kang and her colleagues Adebusola Okedele of Babcock University and Jill S. Greenlee of Brandeis University are experts in gender and African politics and childhood political socialisation who have been researching the political socialisation of children in Nigeria, specifically in Ogun State. They outline the context and offer policy solutions.
