The Nebraska Deterrence Laboratory has been awarded a University of Nebraska Collaboration Initiative Grant for their project, "Multi-Actor Risk Analysis Methodology." Tyler White, a faculty member in the Department of Political Science at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL), is part of the laboratory.

The lab aims to help agencies and organizations across the government and military better anticipate emerging national and international security challenges and deter future threats. The team is developing and testing tools that can help inform decision-making and analysis for national strategy.

This award allows them to continue the organization's work and that of their graduate students. Contributors and collaborators include faculty and students from UNL and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).

White is director of the National Security Studies program at UNL and a National Strategic Research Institute fellow.
