What sparked your interest in your major(s) or area(s) of study?
My interest in political science and finance comes from wanting to understand how government decisions and money affect people's everyday lives. Political science interests me because I want to learn how laws are made and how I can help others. Finance interests me because I enjoy learning how money works, how businesses make decisions, and how people can build a better financial future. Both fields allow me to understand the world from different perspectives and develop skills that I can use in my future career.

What do you see as the value of your major(s) or CAS degree?
I see the value of my political science and finance degrees in the knowledge and skills they give me for my future career. Political science helps me understand government, laws, and how decisions affect people’s lives. Finance teaches me how to manage money, understand businesses, and make smart financial decisions. Together, these two fields help me develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. I believe my education will open doors to different career opportunities and allow me to make a positive difference in my community.

Tell us about the path you took to get to where you are today in your career and how you applied your education in your major(s) or area(s) of study to get here.
My journey started when I moved to the United States in 2015. Learning English and adjusting to a new country was challenging, but it motivated me to work hard and pursue my education. I attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where I studied political science and developed an interest in law and finance. Through my internship at an immigration law office, I was able to apply what I learned in school by helping prepare documents, conducting research, and communicating with clients. My experiences have taught me the importance of hard work, determination, and helping others. I hope to continue using my education to grow professionally and make a positive difference in people's lives.

What are your future professional goals?
My professional goal is to attend law school and build a career in the legal field. I want to use my education in political science and finance to better understand laws, help people, and make a positive difference in my community. I am interested in gaining more experience in the legal field and continuing to develop my knowledge and skills
