Emma Lentsch ('20) First worked for Linked-In as a Trust and Safety Content Analyst and later decided to attend law school at the Nebraska College of Law with an end goal of working in immigration law as an attorney.
Grace Evans ('18) Had the opportunity to attend a Fulbright ETA grant in Morocco after graduation. She also worked for the brand Glossier in New York City in 2020. And has since decided to pursue an MA in international peace and security at Kings College London.
Patrick Baker Works full time at a non-profit organization called the International Republican Institute, He is a Program Associate on the organization's Tunisia portfolio. He supports the 14 Tunisian employees by providing logistical assistance.
Mackenzie Schmidt ('22) Now works for the Minnesota Council of Churches' Refugee Services Program in Minneapolis as a Refugee Program Specialist: Refugee Cash Assistance.
Haeyoon Kim ('13) Was a transfer student from South Korea who Majored in Political Science. She now works at an English Newsroom in Seoul South Korea.
Milla Jones ('17) Now works for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services within the devision of Medicaid and Long-Term Care as a Business Analyst.
DeMoine Adams ('01) A former Husker's standout football player and former NFL player now works as the CEO for TeamMates Mentoring here in Lincoln, NE.
Zachary Kane ('12) Currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Growth at Oka, a Carbon Insurance Company. He double majored in Political Science and History.
Leslie Rojas ('20) Plans to get her Masters in International Affairs and pursue a career with the Foreign Service. She has also been in Rwanda for the past two years serving as an Education Volunteer with Peace Corps.
Sangok Jeon ('24) will be attending Elliot School of International Affair at the George Washington University with the aim of becoming a Northeast Asia security specialist.
Dr. James Kimble ('89) had his book, Prairie Forge: The Extraordinary Story of the Nebraska Scrap Metal Drive of World War II, named the 2021 One Book One Nebraska, as designated by the Nebraska Library Commission. As an undergrad, Kimble was a dual major in communication studies and political science and an active member of the Speech and Debate team. He is currently a Professor of Communication at Seton Hall University.
Katie Czapanskiy studied law at Marquette University Law School. Katie was named the Wisconsin Bar Association's Public Interest Law Student of the Year. She is a two-time Public Interest Law Society Fellow and President of the Public Interest Law Society. Through events at Nebraska, Katie knew she wanted to use her law degree to assist underserved and at-risk communities. Katie loved The Big Event and other philanthropic events through Phi Sigma Pi.
